God Sends Reminders

Numbers 21:5-9 King James Version (KJV)

5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6 And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Have you ever complain when the situation is not comfortable anymore?

In Numbers 21:5

The Israelites complain again for having no bread and water in the wilderness.

God was displeased to hear those complaints so he sent serpents to bite them and some of them died.

God sends reminder whenever His people dishonors Him.

The current situation of the world today is a proof that a lot of people dishonored God. The cause why God let the corona virus spread is because people have great sin.

God controls everything. In just one snap He can kill this pandemic. But God wants His people to do something first.

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

People became wicked in our own ways especially when we are alone. We have unpleasing thoughts or action when no one is watching us.  As the verse says. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways then God will heal our Land.

One thing is for sure. God will heal our land. He is just waiting for His people’s response.

This is the best time to return to God.
