Hillside Bible Baptist Church (HBBC) is a group of believers professing faith in Jesus Christ. The existence of Hillside Bible Baptist Church proves God’s goodness, grace and faithfulness to His flock.
HBBC is an established community Church in Barangay Mangandingay, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Before it became a Church, it started as a mission (Hilltop Baptist Mission) in 2011 and held its first Sunday Service on July 10, 2011 in a native nipa hut (kubo) with about more than 20 attendees. The mission faced crucial situations and challenges but the Lord enabled the Church to accomplished many things for the furtherance of the gospel and to continue serving the Lord.
On May 18, 2016, almost five years after the ministry started, the mission was organized as a Church. Year after year, the Church still faced challenges yet remained strong and continuing to serve the Lord. One of the many challenges the Church faced is concerning property and location and due to this, the Church decided to move from hill top to hillside, reason to entitle the Church as Hillside Bible Baptist Church.
Through God’s provision the Church was able to buy a land and build a chapel that can accommodate a maximum of 150 people. One of the Church’s major ministry is the Discipleship Program where church leaders have their own discipleship groups that meet once a week as a church. The goal of the D-Group (Discipleship Goup) leader is to help each member of the cell to have transformed lives and united spirit for the glory of God. As the Church grow spiritually and numerically the Church is now praying to build a much wider chapel to accommodate more believers of Christ.
HBBC exist to exalt God, share the Gospel to the lost, and Help Build Believers in Christ.
