Exodus 22:22-24
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
Widows : byuda
Fatherless: ulila
Afflict : cause them to suffer/saktan ang kanilang damdamin
Mayroon ka bang kamaganak na byuda o ulila na? Exodus tells us that there is a curse when we hurt their feelings. We don’t feel the suffering they feel of being alone.
If we hurt their feelings at sila’y dumaing sa Panginoon ng may pagtangis God will surely send curse to us. That’s how God takes care of the widows and fatherless.
HBBC let us continue to show love,care and compassion to the members and relatives who are widows and fatherless. These way they would not feel lonely and continue living with joy in their hearts.
The opposite of curse is bless. If we do this God will surely bless us.
